Learn the game. Enjoy the company.

Pickleball is my current favourite, and I want more people in our community to have the chance to enjoy it. At BNKG, we work on the basics, encourage one another, and make room for the fun that brings us back to the court.

BNKG Pickleball Training Program banner for Palincaro

Palincaro plays pickleball

Our community pickleball activities are based at the Palincaro Multi-Purpose Covered Court in Tuy, Batangas. The training programme introduces beginners to the court, grip, ready position, movement, strokes, and the rhythm of an actual game.

The September 2026 training drafts put it plainly: control before power, proper movement before speed, and safety before everything. A strong shot is useful. Being balanced enough to play the next one is useful too.

New to the game? Start here.

You don’t have to arrive with a powerful shot. Start with a comfortable grip, a ready position, and small steps that help you meet the ball with balance. After the shot, recover and get ready again. Admiring your own shot can wait until the rally is over.

Our training sequence is simple: ready, read, move, adjust, balance, hit, recover, and ready again. Take it one piece at a time. Mistakes are part of practice; supporting one another is part of the programme.

Court schedule

Official pickleball schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 4:00–7:00 PM. Earlier play on those days and Sunday play depend on court availability and barangay use. Sundays are first come, first served. Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday are for basketball.

Please check the latest community announcement before coming, especially when weather or a barangay activity may affect court use.

What to bring

Wear suitable court shoes and comfortable sportswear. Bring water, a towel, and an extra shirt. Arrive ready to listen, practise, and give the people around you a little encouragement. Confirm paddle availability with the organiser if you need to borrow one.

More than the score

I enjoy competition, but a beginner’s first job is to learn and enjoy playing. Better habits, confidence, friendship, and the willingness to come back matter too. We can celebrate a good rally without turning every missed ball into a courtroom hearing.

Volleyball, basketball, and community memories

Before pickleball took so much of my attention, volleyball and basketball tournaments were already part of BNKG’s story. This page gives those activities a home too, alongside the training and tournament memories we choose to share.
