Recipes from my kitchen, ingredients worth trying, and meals made for sharing.
Come into the kitchenWelcome to Bahay Ni Kuya G. I’m Gary—Kuya G to the people who know me—and this is where I bring together the things I enjoy: cooking, pickleball, travel, learning, and good company. Make yourself at home. You might leave with a recipe, a new idea, or a reason to join us on court.

Some days, I’m figuring out what to cook with what’s already in the kitchen. Other days, I’m holding a paddle, planning a trip, or working on a system that makes everyday tasks easier. And yes, there’s usually a song somewhere in between.
BNKG gives those interests a home. I want it to be useful, welcoming, and personal—a place where sharing what we know can help someone else try something new.

Read about the shopFood and sport have a way of bringing people together. A training session can turn strangers into teammates; a shared meal gives everyone a reason to stay a little longer. That’s the spirit I want to keep here.

My online diary goes back to 2007. Selected memories now have a home here too: coming back to Tuy, travelling, supporting students, and bringing people together through sport and food.
